Can You Hear Her? Learning to Trust the Voice Within
There's a voice we carry that doesn't shout.
She doesn't clamor for attention or compete with the world's noise.
She waits, quietly and consistently, for us to slow down enough to listen.
I've come to know this voice as my inner knowing.
And while she's always been there, learning to trust her has taken practice.
Daily. Imperfect. Intentional.
In a world full of noise and constant motion, it can feel silly to slow down and tune out the external to tune into yourself.
However, I've learned that to truly understand how I'm reacting to the world around me, I must listen deeply to what's happening within me.
Slowing down isn't weakness. It's wisdom.
Pausing isn't avoidance. It's access.
When I make space to notice what's rising in me—emotionally, physically, spiritually—I get clearer. And that clarity shapes everything. My decisions. My boundaries. My leadership. My energy.
This voice within often speaks in subtle ways.
A tightening in the chest.
A sudden surge of energy.
A deep exhale when something feels right.
We don't need to over-explain these signals. We need to honor them.
It's easy to get caught in the loops of "Should I?" or "What will they think?" But those questions pull us away from ourselves.
What I've found instead is that the most powerful answers often emerge from a quieter place. A place that isn't asking for approval, just truth.
And here's the real magic:
The more we practice listening, the clearer she becomes.
The more we act on what she says, the more we build trust in ourselves.
And that self-trust? That's where grounded, soul-aligned leadership begins.
